Raviteja Biography
Before starting his career in Tollywood, Raviteja spent most of his life in North India. His father was a pharmacist. His mother was an engineer in Tata Industries. Later on he moved to Vijayawada along with his family and joined Siddhartha Degree College. On July 29, 2006, his first son was born.
Raviteja Filmography
At the beginning of his film career, he worked as an assistant director for several films. From then, he planned to do small roles. He got his big break with Puri Jagannadh’s Idiot in 2002. Later that same year, he starred in Krishna Vamsi’s Khadgam, which became a super hit for Teja. In 2003, Teja played the lead role in Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi, which became one of the biggest hits in his career. He also starred in other average flicks in that year as well. In 2004, he starred in one hit (Venky) and two flops (Naa Autograph & Chanti). In 2005, Teja played the lead role in Dil Raju’s Bhadra, which became a big hit and completed a hatrick for Dil Raju. He also starred in Bhageeradha, which was hardly recognized at box office. The year 2006 has been very special to Teja as he gave his career biggest hit Vikramarkudu, despite the flop films Shock and Khatarnak.

Balupu’s new schedule begins in Hyderabad
The third schedule of Ravi Teja’s upcoming film Balupu is going to begin shortly in Hyderabad. Ravi Teja is playing a mass role in this action entertainer and most of the film is going to shot in Vizag. Shruti Haasan and Anjali are playing the lead roles opposite Ravi Teja. Recently, some crucial scenes were shot on Ravi Teja and Anjali near Simhachalam. In the latest schedule, Ravi Teja and Shruti Haasan are going to take part in the film’s shooting.
It’s the first time Shruti Haasan is teaming up with Ravi Teja and apparently her role has a lot of scope for comedy and glamour. “Off to Hyderabad and back to the lovely and energetic set of balupu!! Nice to go to a good set,” Shruti Haasan posted on Twitter. Brahmanandam and Brahmaji are playing important roles. Gopichand Malineni is directing the film. Prasad V Potluri is producing the film. Thaman is scoring the music.
Will Ravi Teja get back his glory days?
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is at a very crucial stage in his career now. He has been going through a lean patch for a while now and he is trying something new with his upcoming film ‘Sarocharu’. The film seems to have a classy romance as its central theme and Ravi Teja is going to be seen as a football coach in this movie.
With Parasuram’s recent form and the production values of a big producer like Ashwini Dutt behind him, Ravi Teja has a good chance of getting back his glory days. Music director Devi Sri Prasad has given a good musical album for this movie.
Kajal Aggarwal and Richa Gangopadhyay will be seen as the heroines opposite Ravi Teja. As of now, the film is gearing up for a release on the 21st of this month.
