Young Hero Gets Parents Tatoo on Shoulders…!

Hero Nikhil who is on cloud nine with the success of his recent outing ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ says he has no time to be in a relationship.

When asked if he is in love with someone, Nikhil replied, “I have no time to listen to even scripts. How could I be in a relationship with someone at this stage? I have got two tattoos on my shoulders – one among them is my mother’s name and the other one is my father’s name. As of now, my love belongs to only them”.

Nikhil credits his success as an actor to ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ director Sudhir Varma whom he considers as his godfather. It was because of Sudhir Varma our young hero managed to get few offers during his struggling days including ‘Happy Days’ and he revived Nikhil’s career with ‘Swamy Ra Ra’.

Though several offers have been coming his way post the release of ‘Swamy Ra Ra’, Nikhil has signed just two projects – A thriller flick and a multi-starrer with Hero Nani. He is very choosey about the scripts now and don’t want to do films just to keep himself busy.

Young Hero’s remuneration 17 crores…?

Ram charan career as hero seems to be soaring high these days. Movies like Racha and Nayak which were expected to turn duds ran as block buster makes cherrie’s horse lead the race. So many big producers of Tollywood are after him with suitcases. This mega hero’s upcoming movies ‘Zanjeer’ and ‘Yevadu’ are ready to hit the screens, both of them are mass masala entertainers. Cherry haven’t signed any film after these two.

It is heard that, Charan took advances from few producers already. But the successful Producer Bandla Ganesh seems to be forcing Ram charan to give dates for him first and is heard that Ganesh offered Charan a whooping amount of 17 crores as remuneration to lure the star.

Even Bandla Ganesh promised Charan that the whole remuneration will be paid in advance, if the call sheets are signed beforehand. As per the information available, Mirchi director Koratala Shiva is going to direct this movie. This makes Ram Charan is the one who takes highest remuneration in Tollywood.

Ravi Teja’s ‘Balupu’ Shooting in Hyderabad…!

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s masala entertainer ‘Balupu’ is currently being filmed in and around Hyderabad. Shooting is going on at a good pace and the film is gearing up for its audio launch soon. The function will be held in Vijayawada. Shruti Haasan and Anjali will be seen as the female leads in the film.

Gopichand Malineni is the director and Prasad V Potluri is the producer. Music is being scored by Thaman. The movie is being readied for a possible release in May.

Ravi Teja will be seen in a full fledged mass role once again with this movie.

Rs.3 Crores house set for Pavan Kalyan’s film…!

Of late, it has become a trend in Telugu films to spend lavishly on building huge sets. Earlier this year, art director A S Prakash created an entire colony for Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and recently YVS Chowdhary revealed that he’s spending Rs 1.5 crores for a song, for which a huge set was built in Annapurna Seven acres, in his upcoming film Rey. On the other hand, Thota Tharani is said to be creating a stunning set for Gunasekhar’s Rudrama Devi.

The latest news is that art director Ravinder has constructed a huge house set for Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film in Trivikram Srinivas’ direction. Sources say that the house set alone cost nearly Rs 3 crores and it is one of the most expensive sets ever built for a Telugu film. Incidentally, a huge house set was created for Trivikram Srinivas’ earlier film Athadu and it became a popular shooting spot for several years. This new house set has been built specifically for Pawan Kalyan’s film in Ramoji Film City and it has become a subject of big discussion among film circles. Samantha and Pranitha Shubash are playing the lead roles opposite Pawan Kalyan. Devi Sri Prasad is going to score the music and BVSN Prasad is producing the film.
